With a few tricks and strategies that I am going to show you, you can start seeing more traffic and visitors to your new blog.

However, getting those backlinks is not an easy task, and, not just for a newbie, even pro bloggers tend to work really hard for them. But, do not worry, I have a few tips for you to get quality backlinks to your website:
- Write quality guest posts on other blogs in your niche. The best way to go about this is by guest posting on your competitors’ website.
- Utilize social media by adding your blog link to your profile.
- Interview influencers and bloggers on a podcast, it is highly likely they will want to share the interview proceedings, that aloe will earn you a backlink.
- Create YouTube videos and link them to your website/blog, by doing so, you will have generated a new backlink to your site.
2. Apply SEO
Search engine optimization simply is a set of rules and guidelines that you should follow in aim to rank higher on Google.
You do not need special skills to optimize your website for Google searches. In fact, there are many free SEO tools and plugins that you can work wit to make optimization easier.
For WordPress websites, YOAST SEO comes in handy. There is the free and premium version, but I recommend kick-starting your optimization with the free version and later the paid version if need be.

Keyword researching is vital to your growth as it directs you towards the exact search terms typed in by Google visitors.
With proper research on keywords, you can answer questions that are directly asked by Google visitors better.

But, do not spam. Providing mediocre answers and a ton of links to these sites is likely to impact you negatively than positively. Aspire to be of help to others, search engines love quality work; you will, therefore, rank higher meaning more traffic.
